Founded in 2017 by Guan Cong and Song Jiuzhi, TO Design is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. It is dedicated to space design in fashion, catering, exhibition halls and private houses. We are thinking about the multi-dimensional representation of design, so that the expression of inspiration can break through the limits, and be born with an open attitude and the integration of space. Through the logical design language of the space of light, scale, color for the essence of thinking, to give the work with the possibility of temperature.

Yinji: Young designers are the mainstay of design in the circle. How did you start your design path? What do you want for your future?
Guan: Because I majored in interior design in university, I insisted on the road of interior design after graduation. Down-to-earth to do well in the present yourself, do well in the present, the future to time.

Yinji: Although Nanjing is the ancient capital of six dynasties, its design is very young. There are a lot of energetic young designers gathered here. What do you think about the future of design in Nanjing?
Guan: Nanjing is a city with a long history and profound cultural heritage, but it also brings an old-fashioned concept. The design of Nanjing needs more young designers -- to work together and bring new vitality and passion to the city. Yinji: What was the opportunity for you and Song to create TO Design? How do you work together?
Guan: We got to know each other in the activity. Because we share the same design pursuit and philosophy, we created the Guan Zhi space together. In the work of a rational, perceptual, learn to think, learn to listen, so can always find the most appropriate state.Yinji: Have you taken any detours in your design growth? Did you encounter any confusion?
Guan: The detours we have taken are the cornerstones of our growth. We can also see a different vision. Each stage has different puzzles, but generally speaking, I can calmly face these puzzles, think and summarize them, and always find the answer in practice.

Yinji: You've been thinking about the multi-dimensional representation of design. How do you understand the dimension of design?
Guan: Design is not only a manifestation of the geometric form of space, but also a carrier of human emotions, a medium of light and shadow flow, and an interactive experience between people and space. Design brings multi-dimensional emotional presentation to space, making space more than just a geometric form.
