Alex currently lives in Los Angeles, and his practice goes beyond the digital environment to the physical environment, shaping a new relationship between the two worlds.The worldview of his sculptures was largely influenced by his childhood immigrants. He was born in Bucharest, Romania. Soon after the revolution, he was taken to Los Angeles, where he started his artistic career.

Alex was trained as an architect at the BArch School of Architecture at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Therefore, he can transform the dimensional form into a sculptural language to convey his ideas.After graduating from the School of Architecture, he became interested in sculpture and became a student of American artist David Wiseman, focusing on sculpture creation.

Alex's sculptures are full of fantastic ideas, living stones, insects with beaks... He especially likes to observe the details in nature. The memory of his childhood in Bucharest, Romania has always influenced his sculptures.He uses different media such as plaster and bronze to create works that connect the future and the past, and at the same time records everything he is concerned about at the moment in this form.
