Ceri Muller
Pottery is an art of meditation and nourishment of the soul. I spent a lot of time exploring more possibilities of clay texture. I like the true colors of clay, and usually I don't glaze clay.
Muller is a potter from South Africa and holds a master's degree in fine arts. In 2019, she officially started her pottery career, which nourishes her busy soul.
After graduating from her master's degree, Muller rested for a long time. Her artistic practice has been hindered by some anxiety. When he began to imagine the ugliest object image, Muller found his direction and continued to explore more possibilities of texture in the production of the container!
Mulle's work is sentimental, playful with a touch of melancholy at the same time. She believes that she is different from conceptual artists in the academic sense. She is more interested in exploring and expressing her inner self, and trying to find comfort through her works. Form is secondary to her.
