But it is heartbreaking that the design master died in London on July 17, 2013 after a brief fight against skin cancer. The studio is currently led by founder and CEO Iain Watson. Following the untimely death of David Collins, The David Collins Foundation was created to commemorate him, his work, his passion for the arts, and his love of beauty. The Foundation seeks to support talented artists and designers at pivotal points in their careers across a diverse range of artistic mediums, allowing them to focus on their research and to develop their practice.
