K-Studio is an architectural interior design company headquartered in Athens, Greece. Founded in 2002 by Dimitris and Konstantinos Karampatakis. It aims to create elaborate designs through tradition, rich materiality and inspiration of contemporary life.
The founding partners Dimitris and Konstantinos Karampatakis are university classmates, both graduated from Bartlett College (UCL) at the University of London. After working for a year at Will Alsop, the two returned to Athens and established K-Studio.
K-Studio is a design practice rooted in architecture, known for its novel and dynamic architectural intervention methods. Since 2002, they have built a series of projects inside and outside Greece: from shops, bars and restaurants to hotel rooms, apartments and newly built houses.
K-Studio's design approach to each project aims to produce a unique architectural experience. Each element of the design should be combined to form a thoroughly considered whole. The design concept is developed through a series of ideas and materials that are an honest and holistic response to both.
