As the founder of Signyan Design, Xie Ke graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, engaging in space design for over two decades. By adhering to plain and natural styles, he is good at enabling the “narrativity” of spaces by using simple materials. He fully respects localization and seeks the combination of traditional technology with contemporary aesthetics to develop oriental cultural aesthetic spaces in the world. 

Located in Chongqing, China, Signyan Design was founded by Xie Ke and Zhi Hongxin in 2008, focusing on architectural and interior space designs. The projects it has designed include resort hotels, commercial spaces, exhibition spaces, and private residences. During its design practices for over a decade, it has been devoted to creating spaces that represent customers’ visions and wills and live in harmony with nature. It always balances the boundary between abundance and restraining and that between orders and complexity while sharing and spreading the natural and simple aesthetics of life. 

The works are guided by human minds rather than the latest trends or techniques. They share similar interior qualities, expressing our emphasis on quality, details, and durability, our respect for nature, and our understanding on life. In addition, we focus on comfort for people, localization and Sustainable development of spaces, and the applications of traditional technology all the time.
