Studio Lawahl is an Interior design studio based in Stockholm, Sweden and founded by Joanna Laven and David Wahlgren. They believe that space is so important to creativity that when people are in their own environment, they feel the difference between space and space. A creative space doesn't have a "demanding" or intimidating atmosphere -- it feels permissible.

Joanna Laven is a talented designer who not only has great craftsmanship but also enjoys hard work. Joanna Laven, who studies media, communication and photography, is so versatile that she's always been looking for a creative job. It was her first idea in design, and she's always been interested in aesthetics. Much of Joanna Laven's time starts with creative meetings with clients or photographers to find inspiration, after which she starts looking for specific objects that will create the feeling she seeks. Joanna Laven infuses her projects with extreme authenticity. Simple, timeless and classy are her labels.

Joanna Laven strives for a calm and balanced tone, and tries to use high-quality objects that can "stand alone," not just to create a specific feeling. It's important for her to have antique furniture in the room, and she doesn't think the space full of new furniture is that interesting. She likes to collect her favorite elements and place them in a complementary environment, as well as objects with historical traces -- vintage items always make the interior more interesting.
