Studio Munge

Originally known as Munge Leung, Studio Munge was founded in 1997 by managing partner Alessandro Munge and design director Sai Leung. Then Munge realized that it was time to take a step forward and changed its name to Studio munge in 2015. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Studio Munge's founder, Alessandro Munge, is committed to the pursuit of perfect solutions, making Studio Munge a leader in the global design industry and one of Canada's leading design studios.

Alessandro Munge was born and raised in Germany. He started sketching his mother's curtain business and later expanded his vision to incorporate different elements of the room to create a comprehensive space. I studied architecture and interior design at the university. After graduating, he worked for four years at Yabu Pushelberg's Toronto office and founded his own company in 1997.Munge captures the needs of each client, from an innovative and financial perspective, coupled with his global vision, solid expertise and cultural contacts from different countries, giving Studio munge the unique ability to create and engrave spaces.

Most of Munge's designs are based on emotions. Whether you enter the restaurant, the hotel lobby or a private home, the initial emotional outburst is what Munge is pursuing. Studio Munge is known for its high-end interior design in an innovative and eclectic way, where the choice of materials and furniture is often combined in a playful, unexpected way.

At Studio Munge, guided by the passion of great design, inspired by excellence, dedicated to excellence in service. These values are at the heart of their internationally renowned design companies, enabling them to build long-term and collaborative relationships with their customers.
