Tony Chi

Founded by Tony Chi in the United States in 1984, Tony Chi design firm brings together top designers from across the world in diverse fields of talent including interior design projects, architecture, landscape design and urban planning. service.       

Tony Chi was born in Taiwan. When he came to New York from China as an immigrant from his childhood, he immigrated to the United States at an early age and he could not remember it. He was passionate about the art of designer, indulging in every design project that he chose to understand. He is described as a modernist who is naturally active, has a design talent, was absorbed in the design of youth, and enrolled in the High School of Art and Design in New York. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to New York University and continued his design course before entering the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in interior design.    

Cross-cultural understanding coupled with global vision enables him to apply his design philosophy worldwide, often in specialty restaurants, luxury hotels, retail stores, fitness clubs and other commercial establishments. His goal is to design and create a variety of physical environments that are places of experience and arena for lighting, color, texture, and symbolic human endeavors.

    • Park Hyatt Kyoto

      Park Hyatt Kyoto is designed by renowned hospitality designer Tony Chi,which combines the distinctive culture of Japan's ancient capital of high art and soul with the elegance of the Park Hyatt brand. In harmony with iconic landmarks and temples, spiritual gardens and nature's four seasons.How Hyatt managed to score this prime piece of real estate is beyond me, but the views of Yasaka Pagoda and the rest of Higashiyama are incredible.
    • Rosewood Hong Kong

      New York-based architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox and New York-based designer Tony Chi led the interior design of the 65-story hotel that occupies the former site of Holt’s Wharf, which was later revamped into the New World Centre.
    • Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou

      The hotel is organized around a central courtyard, as in traditional Chinese architecture, but has an east-meets-west design aesthetic.

    • Park Hyatt Shanghai
