Universal Design is an award winning architecture and interior design studio based in London. Internationally dedicated to projects including boutique hotels and restaurants, retail spaces, offices, galleries and well-known cultural institutions. Universal offers a customized design for each customer, with a wealth of wisdom and creativity to create a place of inspiration for a powerful visual impact.      

British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded Barber Osgerby in 1996 as a furniture design company. In the context of architecture and interior design, there is a growing need to respond to the aesthetic and ingenious use of unique designs for material details. And in 2001, the Universal Design Studio was established, becoming the two main characters of British design. The studio is currently led by Hannah Carter Owers and Jason Holley. 

Universal Design's carefully selected materials and production details are used to help create unique and beautiful spaces through research and experimental processes. Work closely with customers, consultants, contractors and manufacturers to create elaborate spaces that enhance the end-user experience.
