Barozzi Veiga, a Barcelona-based architectural practice, was founded in 2004 by its founders Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga. Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga often lecture on their theoretical background and design approach, and participate in academic events around the world.

The studio is made up of around 25 people from different countries with an international perspective. The majority of their collaborators have grown up in professional practice, which gives Barozzi Veiga a wealth of experience in a collaborative approach. The backgrounds and skills of all collaborators give them a wide range of perspectives, which ensures that the core objective is to deliver projects of the highest level.

Fabrizio Barozzi, born in 1976, grew up in Rovereto, Italy. Studied architecture at the University of Architecture in Venice, then completed his academic studies at the École Technique Supérieure d'Architecture in Sevilla and at La Villette School of Architecture in Paris. He has taught at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona and was an associate professor at the University of Girona; visiting professor at the School of Architecture of the University of Venice, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge and at Cornell University in Ithaca

Alberto Veiga, born in 1973, grew up in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He studied architecture at the Instituto Superior Técnico de Arquitectura in Navarra. He has taught at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona and has been a visiting professor at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice and at the Higher School of Architecture in Navarra.
