Fran Silvestre Arquitectos is an architectural design studio based in Valencia, Spain, founded by Fran Silvestre in 2005. Born in May 1976, Fran Silvestre graduated with honors from the Valencia School of Architecture in 2001 and later specialized in urban planning at the Eindhoven University of Technology. During his time in the Netherlands, he collaborated with the architecture firm MVRDV and was awarded a scholarship to work at the studio of Portuguese Pritzker Prize-winning architect Alvaro Siza, with whom he has continued to collaborate. Since 2006, he has been teaching at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and obtained his doctorate in 2016. Invited by YINJISPACE, Fran Silvestre shares his insights in an online lecture titled A Path to Exploring Efficient Beauty on March 28.

Influenced by architect Alvaro Siza and sculptor Andreu Alfaro, Fran Silvestre Arquitectos focuses on modulation, serialization, and the use of light in architecture, striving to create buildings of exceptional purity through innovative materials and technologies. The studio specializes in small-scale projects, such as The Atrium House (2009) and The House at the Mountainside of a Castle (2010), while also expanding into furniture design and collaborating with interior design firms like Alfaro Hofmann.

Fran Silvestre advocates for architecture that respects the environment and is understood through the lens of space and time, aiming for designs that withstand the test of time. He emphasizes innovation, using new materials and technologies to enhance sustainability and functionality, ultimately improving everyday life.
