© 粤ICP备19077098号On the evening of August 13, Francesc Rifé, a Spanish minimalist master, shared their works and design concepts through Indochina. At the beginning, Francesc Rifé quoted the famous quote of the writer Eduardo Galeano, which he believes is a good definition of what we are or what we want to be: "In a world full of plastic and noise, I want to be silent mud." He believes that timeless design should coexist with buildings of other times. Today, Francesc will try to explain how to achieve it through the materiality of nature, especially through order. In the process of sharing, Francesc Rifé told about his seven works, from the background of the project to the concept, the use of materials to the light and other aspects of his analysis and telling the story of his design!
Preserving history is very important. While reforming, respecting history is the most basic, so that the good part can be preserved. At the same time, you also need to consider the characteristics of history itself, and then you have to make new designs on this basis to achieve a balance, such as functional supplements. The work experience back in Shanghai gave him a lot of opportunities to get in touch with the East and different cultures, which allowed him to innovate in design. For creating a very strong impression, China is very productive and has a very high degree of completion of design. In Europe, such qualities have been gradually lost, and Chinese handmade works have been protected. Europe is gradually losing this part.
Finally, I want to say that I sincerely believe that design can bring comfort and happiness to people’s lives. All I do is to help people understand this better. Thank you for listening today. Thank you very much for the invitation. I am the guest of this series of lectures. thank you very much!
