Elena Weinstein's Apartment, a Paris-inspired project that is still regarded as a model, is not a replica but an original. The owner, a lover of art and books, has hardly changed in the last decade. She moved in after the apartment was finished, and everything was still there, and she didn't want to change a thing, because everything was so harmonious.
Elena had always dreamed of adding space to the loft, but since she lives between Moscow and Paris and works in the design field, she didn't have enough time to improve her home. During the pandemic, they completed all the improvements to the house in six months. Because she was forced to live here for a long time, she was able to control the construction site every day, making the work a perfect quality. For the complex space on the second floor, this is not a luxury, but a necessity.
The project was completed by Akant Bureau and Maria Shubina. Colleagues and friends of hostess Albina Nazimova also participated in the project, opening a new space for the space with mirrored alcoves with bookshelves on both sides. Books usually take up all the space available to them -- the apartment is not only a true Parisian apartment, but a true intellectual apartment as well. Thanks to impeccably executed, it also looks very lively, a rare combination.
