Designed thousands of years ago as a public place for people to meet and a geographical centre for artistic and spiritual life, Scorpios Mykonos was built to combine the creative and social life of the community.

Designed by Annabell Kutucu and Michael Schickinge, Scorpios Mykonos is a multifaceted space at the sun-soaked southern tip of the Greek island of Mykonos, with an open-air residence, a 'market', a Mediterranean restaurant and multiple open-air terraces, And beaches. Scorpios Beach is one of the island's most unique beach paradises, with wooden huts and sunbeds scattered around where visitors can read, drink cocktails, or make their own bliss.

Scorpios Mykonos' custom-built stage can be used for a unique daily musical sunset ritual that takes place every day with the aim of raising awareness, connecting people, inspiring change and promoting visitor focus. Scorpios is a celebration of Greek culture and traditional craftsmanship, which is the spirit behind the hotel and project design.

One minute, the site can be a quiet retreat, allowing people to be quiet in nature, and the next minute, it can be a holy land for communication. This changeable quality is professionally conveyed through Kutucu's design. Everything is related to the natural environment. Each Scorpios Mykonos building is designed to blend in with its surroundings.

At the heart of the 6,000-square-meter beach market is a stone house with a white exterior. In its surroundings, it perfectly mimics the neutral tones and soft browns of nature. Everything reeks of craftsmanship, and if there's ever a time to use the word "organic," it's when describing Scorpios's richly textured natural materials. Wood, rattan, hemp, cotton and stone create a comfortable and warm space with an aesthetic style firmly rooted in contemporary minimalism.
