Located on the Canadian island of Montreal, the modern minimalist Residence Portland Residence was designed by local interior design studio Atelier Barda Architecture. This is a timeless classic line that has been completely revamped. The Portland Residence is a historic stone home in the royal town of Mont. It was built in the early 20th century. The studio's task was to renovate all of the three-story house's space, which totals 3,000 square feet, and add an extension at the back. Important considerations in the redesign were the house's location in the heart of Garden City and the desire to respect the heritage value of the surrounding built environment.
