The architecture studio BU Arquitectura has opened a new space in the city center of San Sebastian, Spain. The office, just a few meters away from the emblematic coast of La Concha, consists of 70m2 and has been totally reformed with a neutral color palette that pairs with the antique pieces of furniture that complete the space.
Aitor Campos, founder of the studio claims that 'without a doubt, being surrounded by beautiful pieces filled with history helps us achieve the frequency we need, when planning while enjoying the profession as we should'.
High quality materials and the feeling of beauty are the protagonists of the space. Walls, ceilings and shelves have been painted with a natural lime mortar that leaves traces of an artisanal application; all combined with a solid, English-reclaimed, hatchet-cut wooden floor, from the 19th century.
A timeless place where the classic and traditional mixes with the contemporary and trendy. A space whose driving force is passion combined with the 'know-how' of a traditional architect and the strength and energy of a young studio.
