Jay Pritzker Pavilion, also known as Pritzker Pavilion or Pritzker Music Pavilion, is a shell of Millennium Park in the Loop neighborhood of Chicago, USA. It is located on the south side of Randolph Street, just east of Chicago's landmark and historic Michigan Avenue district. The pavilion is named after Jay Pritzker, the family best known for owning the Hyatt Hotel. The building was designed by architect Frank Gehry, who received the design commission in April 1999. The museum was built from June 1999 to July 2004 and officially opened on July 16, 2004.
