The De La Costa project was inspired by the feeling of rowing along the coast. The home is both a private residence and a gathering place for all. Notable is the 50-foot sliding glass wall on the main floor, and the transition from Interior to exterior, where precise details and use of multiple materials are led by Lucas Interior.
The sea can always bring people a lot of different feelings, in ancient poetry is not difficult to read their state of mind. When the tide receded and the sea became calm, the sun's rays softened the sea; The peace of the sea, the homeward ship, the white seagulls hovering over it, the pedestrians gradually leaving, and the peace returned to the sea. Its ups and downs, without letting a person into meditation.
The interior of the house is also designed in conjunction with the waterfront environment, with light colors that are fresh and simple; There is calm, sedate dark color, and all these seem to be the real integration of people's growth experience into the design. The design of the courtyard combines the house with the green plants. The knocking of the waves brings the dynamic noise, while the courtyard and the green plants are static and quiet. The combination of dynamic and static makes the feeling of the house not simple.
