Amidst its rural surroundings, an old farmhouse underwent a metamorphosis that respected its character while embracing it with a contemporary translation.
The original chalk lines of the farmhouse were preserved, but the interior of the home was gutted and transformed into an oasis of tranquility. Oak, dark green natural stone and lime became the base materials of this transformation.
The filtered light penetrating through the surrounding trees plays a game on the textured walls, and the accents in cannage.
