Set on the edge of the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok, these two apartments for an extended family were designed with the lifestyle of each member providing the direction to the interior mood of each space.
In one, a classically Thai-inspired materials palette of rich gold and mustard toned Jim Thompson silks, Belgian velvet textiles and dark timber furnishings are set over bespoke hand-woven silk floor rugs and dark stained timber floors.
In the other, a light palette of neutral-toned linens and cotton on oversized sofas and armchairs, pale oak wood cabinetry and woven-grass wall panels, linen and nettle grass floor rugs, provides a setting for relaxed contemporary tropical living and entertaining.
