Austin-based full-service interior design firm Studio Seiders was founded by Emily Seiders in 2006. Taking a project from conceptualization to completion is a major strength of the studio. From the beginning of the project, the design team worked closely with the architect, builder and client to create a cohesive product. They built the house according to the client's needs, ensuring that the architect's vision and the client's personality were reflected in the final product.
Studio Seiders' approach to Hatley House is to communicate with its clients to create a beautiful and livable home. The single-family house sits high above the street and is surrounded by vegetation. A path to the house was cut through the scattered rocks. The vegetation not only contrasts the clean road, but also enhances the atmosphere of the house.
Each space in the residence has its own tone, although the color is rich, but will not appear disorderly, but more can highlight the characteristics of the space itself. In different tonal mood, experience differs somewhat. The use of irregular texture of wood and the use of animals as decoration have a sense of bringing nature into the interior, adding a natural feel to the house.
