South Korean design studio Z_Lab has designed Jocheon Masil, a private hotel located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju Island. Sinchon-ri, a village on Jeju Island, has preserved traces of jeju people's life.
The house has maintained the shape of a Stone house on Jeju Island for more than 200 years, and is a beautiful space in itself, with nothing added or decorated, as the house is filled with stories and traces of people's lives.
Like the name Jocheon Masil, it's a space where everyone can drink, shop, cook and talk about unusual things together in Jocheon. During the designer's stay, he designed the space so that he could experience life as a Jocheon person rather than a stranger.
