After PRADA moved its own exhibition to Hong Kong Central Pier 4, COS from Northern Europe placed the 2015 autumn and winter show in this offshore space. The downstairs ferry connects the busy Central and Lamma Island, while the upstairs is designed by André Fu to design the Urban Landscape. The founder of the young AFSO design company used a large piece of glass to create a zen-like "Modern Asian" space, which is a very different atmosphere from the busy land and sea transfer station.
André Fu said that this space can also be "considered as a journey." After entering the exhibition gate, visitors can walk through the white metal frame through a green walkway and then enter the gray space to stop, the warm light source makes up for the cold color. The moss-covered ball plant occupies the white cobblestone floor, which is small and exquisite. Fu Houmin explained that the inspiration was from the Wind Garden. In the part close to the floor-to-ceiling windows, a layer of white steps is covered by mossy green plants, and the brown and green glass divides the layering. The visual refreshing also makes the space three-dimensional.
Although the space looks simple and clear, the work behind it is not simple. A team of more than 40 people spent 45 days on these glass structures and decorative elements. After entering the installation, they also assembled many times and Test to make sure the device is safe. COS held a fashion show for the fall/winter 2015 collection, where the style and space between the neutral and the simple are harmonious. In the show video below, you will have a clearer understanding of the connection between the two.
