Designed by Ashley Botten Design, the house is located in The Muskoka region of Canada, next to Rosseau Lake. The project quietly subverts expectations while honouring its iconic lakeside setting. The soft, repeating palette and custom furnishings have their roots in a careful collaboration between designer and visionary architect. 

Each piece is specific to the space: the roundness of the kitchen table offsets the room’s straight lines, subtle movement in the living room carpet speaks to the natural landscape, while thoughtfully appointed lounge areas encourage everyone to linger.
