Spicy Chiaroscuro is a Moscow tea bar project that began in the summer of 2019. Morocco, with its ochre walls and stunning natural landscapes, is a new destination discovered by Atelier Prototipi's Evgeny Cherkas and Alexey Klimov. It is an eclectic space, combining the ambience of the eastern labyrinth city with the poetry of the architectural form, designed to capture, savour and explore moments.

On every surface of the land, charred rock surfaces, choppy shorelines and even architectural structures combine into an indivisible landscape, as if they were originally one. And so a new story was born, one steeped in uncharted territory, one whose multilayered culture and mysterious nature still rivaled projections of alternative realities.

The interior is made up of an internal labyrinth, echoing the layout of the ancient eastern urban center Of Medina, the starting point for many urban sprawl. The circular openings, high arches and elements were inspired by the outline of a legendary tower belonging to Catalan artist Javier Corbelo. Throughout the day, the sun continues to shine, creating magical reflections and shadows. The architectural oasis merges with the street and becomes a network of passageways hiding mysterious contours and images.
