Young New Zealand-born duo Alexandra Batten And Daniel Kamp set up interdisciplinary studio Batten And Kamp in Hong Kong in 2019, with an impressive portfolio of interior design projects and one-off product designs. Batten And Kamp design functional sculptures that are acquired and commissioned by collectors, galleries and clients around the world.

Batten And Kamp have completed numerous site-specific, bespoke furniture and sculpture commissions.Their limited edition works are made alongside talented artisans and assembled and distributed from their Hong Kong and Paris studios.

‘Minimal intervention’and a philosophy of‘doing as little as possible’may sound like an apathetic approach to design, but it’s a refreshing point of difference in a world where Instagram-worthiness is applauded and overconsumption the norm.
