Meat Coin is a meat restaurant with a rough yet cosy atmosphere, located on the Garden Ring Road in Moscow. Meat dishes with Turkish notes are the emphasis of the restaurant's cuisine. And it was precisely this ethnicity that we wanted to emphasise within the interior, creating references in each separate zone.
At the entrance, each visitor is greeted by a bar and a butcher's shop with a laboratory. Next to the bar, the studio placed a wine room; This is a large glass space with shelves for wine in the form of rough concrete blocks; The team also placed collection bottles on rough wooden bars and illuminated them with accent light.
The core of the interior is an open kitchen with a grill hearth. It can be seen from anywhere in the restaurant; it is a kind of theatre where the magic of cooking takes place. In the main hall, there is an oblong sofa group assembled with rough beams and soft pillows that face the view windows. There is also a large communal table with a tabletop made of a solid 300-year-old oak slab.
