Designed by design studio David Collin, the Bryanston apartments take advantage of a thriving upscale neighbourhood in central London, green spaces with Hyde Park on its doorstep and buildings designed by world-renowned studio Rafael Viñoly.
Rich colour was used inside the Bryanston apartment, and the result was a design that was both striking and lighthearted. Each space in the interior has its own theme, from the blue bedroom to the fresh and bright yellow dining area. Tactile fabrics are juxtaposed with reflective surfaces that allow sunlight to bounce throughout the day and illuminate the space. In this indoor feast for the senses, each room also has its own scent carefully matched by the perfumer.
High-end furniture design, custom artwork, and powerful three-dimensional reliefs adorn the entrances and hallways, inspired by Wedgwood's jasper. Vinson, who has worked with David Collins Studio in the past and is familiar with the studio's work, proposes that the true character of an interior space can be a mix of iconic classic pieces and bespoke elements.
Furniture has been selected from over three decades and bespoke in new finishes, setting the stage for the project, before being mixed with antiques from the London roster of designer makers and many bespoke commissions. Vinson always likes to mix things up to avoid creating a "whole look" from any single way.
