Belgium is a design capital, known worldwide for its minimalist aesthetic. Defined by craftsmanship, tradition and subtle grandeur, it uses warm and timeless materials and tends to reduce elements to a minimum.
The Deerlijk DJ residence, designed by Dejaeger interieur architecten, uses complex organic materials throughout, with an appropriately distributed application of different materials and an overall warm and soft palette; a minimalist art form whose design concept is characterized by a clever, proportional and luxurious mix of materials, layered materiality and a neutral palette to create calming spaces.
The art of light is experienced in the most open way, adding depth and richness to the designed spaces, using a variety of materials, including marble, porcelain and waxed cotton weave, to create spaces that utilize a modern and lasting aesthetic.
