Element Architecten, which is run and managed by architects Mattias Verschueren, Philip De Schepper and Joris De Schepper, was founded in Ghent, Belgium in 2011. The studio wanted to create a "less is more" ethos, but also wanted to have an identity. To this end, they challenged minimalism, hoping to create a recognizable design style and find a balance between minimalism and design.

Because Element Architects' team members come from different regions, diverse cultural backgrounds give rise to unique ideas and design inspiration in the project practice. With the same minimalist design approach, LL House 2 has the flavor of Oriental Zen, which makes it significantly different from previous projects. The space is simple and elegant, and the material is simple and delicate, which is enclosed by the relation of the block. There are subtle changes between the surface and the surface.
