Casa Musica emerges as the new concept of the firm Casa Neutrale. After Casa Coffee, Casa Day & Night and Casa Wine Bar, we present this fourth project. Once again, deep research is done in the development of new stories. First we worked with coffee, then with food and finally with wine.
Now it is music what becomes the protagonist of this cozy and intimate space. Every architectural solution is studied in detail in order to achieve a sound quality beyond the norm. This will guides the space towards an atmosphere that works in favor of the project's narrative. By means of a functional resource such as the concrete block, the identity of the space is built.
The stacking of these blocks begins to shape the main design elements. Among them, the bars and benches become essential protagonists of the two large rooms. In this way, uniformity is achieved in the use of materials and coherence in the construction of the space.
Once the main volumes have been built, the use of other materials adds a touch of warmth. On the one hand, dark wood tops the benches and builds the DJ's furniture. On the other, stone outlines a continuous bar that connects the openings facing the street. The use of steel adds sophistication to the entire composition. Finally, the ceiling surfaces are projected with cellulose to achieve a dark and gloomy appearance reminiscent of a kind of cave.
The result is a space divided into two floors. A first area at street level functions as a restaurant for night-time use. Its harmonious and calm atmosphere welcomes diners. Meanwhile, the basement floor is designed with care for the pleasure of music. The cave-like appearance envelops the scene and generates a sensation where sound is experienced in a singular way.
