A flagship Valentino store in Sloane Street, London, designed by India Mahdavi. The space is set up through conceptual and identity elements, freeing itself from function: imagining a world that belongs to a valentino girl and evoking her dreams.
Conveying the essence of fun somewhere between reality and fiction, function and dream, from floor to ceiling, is crucial to everything. In this shop, the combination of soft, surrealistic pinks and dreamy mirror streams allows illusion to prevail in multidimensional space.
Visual and tactile contrasts animate, the versatile and multiform space. White, pink, and ochre as unifying symbols of this romantic and rebellious space. The two areas within the store are the result of a kaleidoscopic narration, an original combination that sees brass blend to velvet, pink and white terrazzo blend with Rubik and Lolita displays and aligned with Charlotte chairs.
The 170 square meter store features a great brass and glass on one of London’s most strategic streets,The sinuous lines of each element within the store blend with the collections, giving life to a myriad facets and endless interpretations.
