Koyori Design Studio in Japan, co-founded by Nahoko Nakamura and Masahiko Nakamura, who are not only business partners, but also intimate lovers. As native Kyoto people, the two founders have a strong affection for Kyoto. The Koyori Design Studio they founded aims to promote the beauty of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. And to create a design studio that is authentic, creative, and pursues the "artisan spirit" that promotes the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship, it has also become their unremitting goal.
The Sakyo Okazaki Guestroom is a residence designed by Koyori who designed it with the studio's design philosophy, incorporating the beauty of traditional Japanese craftsmanship into the project. This project makes a dialogue between the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and modern residential design in space, forming a Japanese minimalist style that is loved by modern people.
