Layered Seoul is a poem about "layers" written by Listen Communication with a contemporary hand. It is located in Lotte World Tower, a landmark building in Seoul, with an area of approximately 271 square meters. It is an extension and projection of the owner's understanding of life, as well as a journey of cultural and emotional return. Looking out from the height of the building, one can see the bustling city. Looking inward is an inner spiritual landscape about "belonging".

Although the project's inspiration stems from the "hierarchy" concept of Hanok, it is not limited to replicating traditions. Listen Communication translates the "hierarchy" in Hanok into "order" in the contemporary context. Layer by layer, the space has a clear sense of ceremony. Materials, light and movement lines interweave with each other, allowing culture and life, the contemporary and tradition to quietly converge here, giving rise to a unique artistic conception.

Passing through the entrance hall, the line of sight spreads inward. The living room is like a secluded courtyard, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sunlight gently pours in through the glass and translucent materials, while the deliberately concealed lighting system makes the light an "invisible" presence, further enhancing the reserved quality of the venue.

The ceiling form combines Korean paper with woodwork, delicately echoing the soft light texture of traditional window paper. Most of the furniture is custom-made by hand, continuing the ancient mortise and tenon technique. Each object not only has a function but also becomes a "empathizer" of the space. In the details, people and objects form connections, generating a kind of daily aesthetics that has been refined by time.

The interior extensively uses natural materials such as untreated logs, matte stones, and handcrafted terracotta bricks. The fine wood grain and rough stone surface have become a "perceptible" texture language. This is a tribute to the spirit of craftsmanship and a return to the essence of life - the simplicity of materials endows the space with a stable power. The sliding bamboo woven wooden door serves as a flexible boundary between Spaces. It not only allows for visual transparency but also enables flexible division, creating a spatial grammar that is both separate and connected. This makes the relationship between people and the space more free, fluid and emotionally rich.

Listen Communication emphasizes restraint, blank space and authenticity. At the same time, it responds to the complex cultural context and individual spiritual needs, and awakens the cultural memories hidden beneath the urban rhythm with delicate design language. And Layered Seoul is precisely the complete embodiment of its philosophy: a restrained expression, a symphony of space and emotion, and a poem recited on the top of the city.
