The Glass Star eyewear store in Seongjeong-dong, South Korea, which has been operating in the same place for many years, attracts consumers of all ages with its diverse products. The store is rich in brands and a wide variety, becoming a warm space where customers can freely shop, communicate and exchange. In this dynamic space, the design often starts with how to effectively express and define the "diversity" of Glass Star.

Glasses are an all-too-familiar object in our lives, but when you think about them, they open up another fascinating world. Wipe the glasses, the blurred vision gradually clear, as if to open a new world door. The features that belong to glasses - providing a "diverse picture" to the wearer - became the basis of the design concept at RVMN Design Studio.

The total area of the Glass Star store is approximately 160 square meters, and the original lens area has been preserved during the renovation process. To ensure that the lens area fits seamlessly into the new space, RVMN uses a contrasting "black and white tone" approach. This contrast allows customers to intuitively distinguish between the glasses sales area and the lens sales area when entering the store. In order to show the variety of glasses in the store, the designer adopted a simple and effective display. Make the design language of the space more clear and smooth to ensure that customers can easily and quickly find the right products in the store.

The central two semi-circular island display stands present the structural essence of the glasses in a simple and sophisticated form, which becomes the core of the store design. Transparent acrylic benches are set up next to the display table, so that customers can relax during the shopping process, or they can temporarily stop to appreciate the art works in an art museum, adding a quiet space.

The specially installed round Barrisol lamps on the ceiling enhance the depth and visual sense of the space. These lamps not only provide soft lighting for the interior, but also give the interior a unique personality, forming a rich light and shadow changes, making the eyes displayed more charming.

Inspired by the glasses assembly process, the facade's structured design naturally divides the space and creates a separate display area for each brand, where customers can browse and choose their favorite brand without confusion. The use of geometric forms brings dynamics and shuttle through them, giving people the illusion of walking in an art museum. Every corner brings a new visual experience, breaking the monotony of traditional shopping. In the choice of materials, RVMN Studio deliberately balances warm and cold tones, aiming to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for the interior. The use of wood high pressure laminate (HPL) and stone flooring gives the space a natural, stable and delicate perception, which softens the original cool tone and makes the entire interior look more comfortable and pleasant.

The renovation of Glass Star has changed customers' perception of the traditional shopping space. In this artistic and immersive exhibition hall, shopping has become a double enjoyment of sight and experience.
