A residence in Paris, France, designed by Studio Razavi. The house is located across the street from the Luxembourg Gardens in a courtyard unique to the 17th century hotel. The apartment belonged to a French American couple, and it was their Paris home. The goal was to turn the place into a warm, modern Parisian apartment with as much flow between each room as possible. All the Windows face west, so capturing (rare) horizontal natural light from room to room is key. The project also calls for multiple opportunities to showcase an eclectic collection of art, from antiques to contemporary works.
