Bound Cafe in South Korea, designed by local studio The First Penguin, completed in 2020. This modern style cafe is suitable for people of all ages. Whether it is a casual gathering or a business, this quiet and atmospheric space stands out from the rest of the cafes.
Surrounded by external walls, Bound Cafe is a two-story structure, the first floor is surrounded by glass Windows, and the interior of the restaurant offers views of the sparse vegetation planted around the perimeter. This floor can receive more guests, and the second floor is used as a private space, providing a quiet space for people who need to talk or have office needs.
The cafe uses unidirectional glass that allows light to pass through on one side, but reflects light traveling in the other direction. Diners can see clearly, while pedestrians cannot see directly into the interior, giving diners a pleasant dining experience.
