Recently Thierry Gillier, founder of the paris-based fashion house Zadig & Voltaire, his wife and artistic director Cecilia Burnst, and their four children now live in a five-bedroom, 500-square-metre house that features minimalist interior design and a rich variety of original artwork.
French-born Thierry Gillier was an artist before making his mark on the fashion world. Collecting -- be it fine art, furniture or found objects -- became a hobby. His passion for contemporary art, especially minimalism and monochrome, began when he lived in New York, where he studied object design at Parsons School of design and painting and film at bard college in the 1980s and 1990s.
