In downtown Seoul, South Korea, Reperk Cafe was designed by local design studio WGNB. The studio combines inspiration from everyday life with space design to create a new perspective. Their design style has a strong personality and avant-garde characteristics, combining art, fashion and unique design vision. With this creative goal in mind, they try to create a new experience by collaborating with different art genres.
In the design of the project, WGNB broke the common impression of cafe design through their highly personalized design style. Reperk Reperk Reperk Reperk Reperk Reperk provides a refreshing and unforgettable place for people working in the neighborhood and business community, WGNB uses deconstruction and dramatic design techniques to achieve visual impact and artistic aesthetics through contradiction and conflict.
Due to the factors of the building's own conditions, the structure is relatively stiff and cold. The designer achieves the sense of relaxation and comfort of the space by means of harmonization. The unique natural light is fully utilized. WGNB makes the space more transparent through grilles, window holes and other forms, and mediates the solemn feeling brought by black.
