This project began with a deep consensus on the commercial value of the temperament of the principal. We intend to go beyond the conventional paradigm of commercial space and transform the complex temperament created for independent women in the core of the cookie H. brand, which lies between black and white tones of sharpness and inner warmth, into an immersive and perceptible physical field.
Pushing open the door and touching it, the prologue of the story is already written. The black hand crafted door handle is wrapped with thorny thorns, but gently wrapped by a gentle hemp rope. This tense encounter is precisely the soul footnote of this space - under the background of independence and resilience, always maintaining a gentle heart.
Entering the room, the narrative of "handmade customization" stretches on every piece of furniture and prop. The inspiration for the coffee table comes from the lotus leaves of West Lake. Its form is not a simple imitation of nature, but an abstract extraction of its stretching, solidifying the poetic essence of the lake in every inch.
The primitive metal hanger rod that is closest to clothing, with its rough and realistic texture, humbly highlights the exquisite design of each piece of clothing. They jointly construct a field full of the will of the host, inviting you to carefully appreciate every meticulously crafted detail and emotion with touch, gaze, and pause.
We conducted the first 'three-dimensional cutting' of the original site, dividing its coffee and clothing display area into two parts. Subsequently, a huge transparent glass off-axis door is used as the most exquisite "segmentation", which is like an oversized open placket, completely realizing the derivation and integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. This boundary defines a relaxed and natural tone, preserves the original large glass facade, and constructs a continuously changing landscape frame, cutting the street view, light and shadow, and pedestrians into a dynamic urban image.
Space is like clothing, expressing personality through material layering. Based on plain concrete, it has a sharp black and white tone, and is the calm and tough exterior of independent women. The old wooden flooring provides a warm touch, continuing the familiar memories of the brand studio. The old beam wooden structure stands on top, like a warm coat draped over a calm space, creating a strong visual and emotional contrast.
The coffee area is adjacent to the giant window, which is a "city stage". We deliberately create a relationship of "seeing and being seen": guests can quietly observe the world outside the window, while also becoming a scene appreciated in the street view. This interesting interaction greatly stimulates guests' desire to explore and stay.
Despite being restrained in form, we have fully manifested the internal vitality and combined it with careful consideration of pet friendliness, making the window area naturally grow into a small community communication platform. It attracts individuals of the same frequency to meet here, completing the integration of the community from observation to participation, injecting sustained vitality into the calm space.
This is not just a store, but also an enlarged piece of clothing, a showcase of the spirit of the person in charge. We have created a non-standard commercial space that can express independent personality and accommodate community warmth through the design logic of cutting and layering. The semi transparent cloakroom box with glass walls can be faintly seen in the block, and when the night lights slowly rise, it appears like the facade of a tiny building.
