We approach design with a fresh perspective and see beauty in the ordinary.

alittlemore studio is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Lahore, Pakistan. Founded by Aleeya Khan in 2023, the studio is spearheaded by Masshal Saif, the Creative Head. Multi-disciplinary in nature, the studio offers services from bespoke furniture design to brand identity with a core focus on product design. We believe that good design should do more than just look pretty – it should shift your perspective and invite play. We approach design with a fresh perspective and see beauty in the ordinary. Taking inspiration from our everyday lives, we aim to give shape to the little moments of joy that are hidden in plain sight.

alittlemore studio we strive to master the art of design through blending contemporary sensibilities with regional nuances. We aspire to create meaningful design objects and interventions that have a timeless endurance that withstands mere trends to tell a story.

Aleeya Khan consistently attempts to merge her South Asian heritage and her foreign education to further improve developing cities through design. Khan’s passion for entrepreneurship and desire to disrupt the stigma around women-led practices in her region led to the creation of A* alittlemore studio. Masshal Saif is a multi-disciplinary designer and architect. She has a master’s degree in furniture design from Florence, Italy. Her work approaches design as a medium for storytelling.

The Smog Rug Collection by alittlemore studio is a foray into visual storytelling, depicting vivid abstractions of the Punjabi Landscape. The collection consists of a series of three hand-knotted rugs made of 100% hand-spun wool. The wool is hand-dyed and the rugs are trimmed with hand by skilled artisans. The collection includes The Calendar, The Runner and The Room.

This collection of rugs is an homage to the land and a visually stunning art piece showcasing climate change due to the catastrophic interventions perpetuated by humans. The labor intensive process of carpet making mirrors the hardships endured by farmers desperate to ready the land in time for the next sowing season - in their fervor burning expansive swathes of land that pollutes the land and sky for weeks on end, slowly sapping the once bountiful Punjabi soil of its nutrients. What began as a single rug – The Calendar - soon expanded into a series of three limited edition pieces comprising The Runner and The Room. All three rugs were debuted during an exhibition under the theme of ”The Future is Currently Unavailable” held by Isola Design during Milan Design Week 2024.
