Acne Studios, a fashion brand retail store based in Stockholm, Sweden, was designed by Spanish interior design studio Arquitectura-G. The project cleans up the space, leaving only the basic features.
While the floors are made of real marble, many elements are faux marble, and the project plays to this duality. All the skin surfaces are monochrome, in the shade of the original Ekeberg marble.
The three rooms are connected by columns, and at the end of the main axis, a new abstract colonnade creates a new backdrop. This fake colonnade is made of real marble and provides access to the dressing rooms.
Marble furniture designed by Max Lamb serves as a platform, while creating a new marble floor over the old floor. As a contrast, the lamps were designed by Benoit Lalloz, technical and sharp.
