Australian interior designer Barb Hyman designed her home in St kilda, Melbourne, bringing in graphic designer and artist Annie Portelli to help with the interior and landscape designer Gavin Smith to help him create a lush European garden.Barb Hyman, who has three children with her husband and a dog named Thai, moved into the house in 2013. 

When Barb Hyman moved into this sprawling St Kilda terrace in 2013, there was a lot of work to do.The largest job was knocking down the lean-to attached to the back of the house, and replacing it with large steel framed glass doors, that welcome light into the home. Inside, the home is brought to life with personal touches that sit gently within the grand proportions of the space.
