The project is located in Jianguomen, Beijing, which is in the middle of the bustling city with expensive cost. It enjoys the convenience of core area and rich natural environment. As a golden division point of the capital's culture and economy, it got it own unique resources which cannot be copied —— CBD. The designer team wants to customize an advanced state of life under the high quality requirements and awesome location. We tried to build the discoveries from people’s post-pandemic life into the space and turn it to a modern house by using the dynamic method. 

The story revolves around a couple. Both of them are overseas returnees. The mistress of the house is fond of Western elements, thus we design a “mall-like”closet room for her collections. The man of the house likes a simple style of house and also he likes making and collecting different kinds of Garage Kits so that we build a luxurious and technological space for him. This 460-square-meter house shares their happiness to us.  

Located at the center of the city, faced to Central Business District, a landmark, a big view. We chose to trace the background of the city dynamically, dig deeply into the details of life, and build a specific taste of high quality lifestyle.

The dual-living room design is a ideal space for the couple to live. Super living room uses a open structure for free conversation, the layout is flexible and aimed at the changeable needs of the host, meeting the functional switch of the spaces. As we walked through the living room observing the relationship between the house and the people live here. The composite function is stripped down into several parts, and every of them holds its own vibe but also connected. The couple have breakfast here every morning, starting the day from a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. 

The story starts as how they met, clutter of stuff is arranged in order. Island and cabinets are both good helpers for storing, become the owner of the space, and create your own life taste. Our view was led to the fashionable scene, it shows a different logic from what we often imagine a house can be like, ecch step makes a difference, the shadow and the light blend and change.

The artistic translation by arched corridor, express the humanistic spirit. It achieves the peer connection and full view of experience. The project is not only included the unique resource, but also telling us a insight and interpretation of depth. From two-dimensional to three-dimensional perspective, it creates a sense of wide spaces. Layer and layers upon, combination of light and dark. Dark deluxe art collection gallery, hide the lifestyle taste of the top-class.

A reflection of the private field in home, the nature is to build a pure spiritual area. Breaking the barrier of normal life and ideal, finally we shaped a inner experiences that resonate with space.

Taking out host as the center, creating the reversibility of space. We magnify the imagination of owners’ life infinitely, as the time pass, the house is passed on to the next generation, socializing, working, and being alone are divided into separate and interactive fields. Using the flexible design method through a door or a window, we change the dynamic lifestyle in this mansion. A intimate and exquisite world of two people when closed, a family's multi-shared living room when open, create diverse experiences such as reading, working and yoga.

Flashback to where the story begins and ends, the entrance carries function conversion of the indoor and outdoor. Focus on the real state of the owner when returning home, a dry-was- integrated sink at the entrance, expose pioneer consciousness in this post-epidemic era. The universal scene can no longer arouse the vision of modern people. We turn the symbol of the two owners which designed by themselves, into spatial images that can be perceived. Building on the experience of high quality of life.

We’re space "magicians" in a sense，Capture, switch, and progress the dynamic life of the owners. The "wonderful ideas" that can be seen everywhere is not fleeting, but the freshness and warmth that remains after the passage of time.
