André Ferri is from Belorizontino, born in 1990, with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism and a specialization in Furniture Design. Having worked in architecture until 2015, André currently works exclusively in the creation of authorial furniture, divided into two segments, partnerships with furniture industries and also independent authorial production. Wood is the protagonist in the designer's work, above all the dialogue with other materials also forms an important feature of his work. With pieces that have won important design awards, his work is defined by the search for innovations and the dialogue between construction techniques and joinery.

In 2015 André Ferri founded his own design company, Atelier André Ferri, with a studio located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, where the designer combines his creative work with his craftsmanship. These pieces are made entirely by the designer's hands, piece by piece using traditional woodworking construction techniques that give them a unique personality. The designer's work reflects his personality in a simple yet solid way, conveying his relationship with the raw materials. 

André Ferri has gained increasing attention on the national and international markets for his furniture and lamps, which explore the contrast between hot and cold materials, as well as raw and light forms, in a harmonious and sensitive way. In his studio, he insists on an authorial and manual approach to production, with a process that extends from drawing to the production of furniture, including prototyping, material research, experimentation and refinement. André Ferri's work has had a profound impact on Brazilian design.
