Asthetíque studio has brought their new project, Beauty Salon in Khamovniki, to Moscow, Russia. Unique in this new project: with murals, reliefs, undulating walls and mosaics, pastel colours and sleek shapes, it is a serene and soulful space. Designers are able to convey a celebration of female beauty and create a relaxed and comfortable mood within the salon.
Alina Pimkina, the studio's designer, noted that it was important for them to define the DNA of the project, which they managed to express through smooth lines, soft colors and delicate natural textures and materials. The most important thing in the project was the energy and consciousness inside. It's a place where their inner voice says, "I feel calm and relaxed here."
The salon occupies two floors of the new building, with high ceilings and panoramic Windows. The ground floor has a reception area, waiting room and hair salon, while the second floor has a beauty room, massage room, manicure and pedicure room and lounge area. The main decorative pattern used by the designers is wavy lines, whose smooth outline seems to repeat the curves of the female body. The sculptural reception desk, the wavy walls of micro-cement and even the balustrades on the stairs are all tactile.
Interior design elements are minimalist paintings depicting female figures and plants as part of the project's branding. The motive was murals in hair salons and pedicures, ceramic tiles and aprons in an office, embossments in nail salon. Delicate lines are complemented by a color scheme with special effects. Although most of the hues chosen by the designers are neutral, their combination gives the space its unique personality. Designer Alina feels that IO reflects their aesthetics, their love of architecture, natural materials, nature and harmony. They wanted to convey the goodness of life and the peace of the world through shapes, colors and light.
