The Olea Resort & Spa is a dreamy haven situated on the island of Zakynthos, presenting a tropical approach to the classic Mediterranean architecture and design. The main concept stems from the diffusion of boundaries. There are no clear boundaries between the indoors and outdoors and water flows seamlessly along the entire design, instead of just clearly defined areas. The visitors are encouraged to feel like themselves, and to feel free to explore all the possibilities: to swim in the water, rest under the pergola, indulge in the sun beds or enjoy the well-equipped spa. There are various types of rooms, designed to meet any demand: private rooms, suites with a pool and jacuzzi, presidential suites, swim-up rooms, rooms with a view of the land and more.
The vegetation is never forced in Zakynthos, everything that grows flourishes easily. The Olea Resort & Spa fits perfectly in the organic, soft landscape where nature and architecture merge together. The water pools are placed in the center with the architecture built around it, resembling a lake. Islands then rise from this lake in the form of lounges, bars, restaurants, and of course the beautiful, old olive trees that already existed on the plot.
