The Olea Resort & Spa is a dreamy haven situated on the island of Zakynthos, presenting a tropical approach to the classic Mediterranean architecture and design. The main concept stems from the diffusion of boundaries. There are no clear boundaries between the indoors and outdoors and water flows seamlessly along the entire design, instead of just clearly defined areas. The visitors are encouraged to feel like themselves, and to feel free to explore all the possibilities: to swim in the water, rest under the pergola, indulge in the sun beds or enjoy the well-equipped spa. The water pools are placed in the center with the architecture built around it, resembling a lake. Islands then rise from this lake in the form of lounges, bars, restaurants, and of course the beautiful, old olive trees that already existed on the plot.
