Charlyn Reyes is an artist and designer with a focus on sculptural design. She works primarily with clay, a material attracted by its history and connection to the earth. Her reverence for traditional crafts inspired her to continue to explore forms through energetic natural materials. Her creative process is guided by intuition and sensitivity to material selection.

After completing her design studies in 2013, years of exploring various mediums brought her naturally to pottery. She was soon fascinated by the history and texture of ceramics and began her ceramic career by teaching herself. Using the traditional manual method of making pieces, forming her unique pieces in clay.

Reye's work has an effortless fluidity. Based on her design background, lines and shapes are presented in unexpected ways, guiding the eye through a series of empty Wells and organic curves in clay. Reyes's sculptures are the product of her divine intuition. When she sits down to create, she doesn't hesitate to invite the unknown. The beauty of Reyes's artistic spirit lies in encouraging ideas to roam freely, to summon at will, and not to be constrained by established standards or expectations imposed.
