Set in the corner of the Australian city centre, Carlton Terrace has been designed by local design studio Clare Cousins through a series of extensions and contractions that create a new sense of openness without compromising the privacy of the city centre. It gives the house new vitality and vitality.
Despite the complex form of the house, it responds to the environment and suggests a comfortable integration into the community. Light and shadow bring a sense of freshness when warm sunlight hits the interior through the cracks in the building. The high position of the glass Windows prevents direct sunlight, but does not completely block out the light and cause darkness.
